PUI Audio SMT-09 Series Transducers are surface-mount transducers with a 1.9mm thickness that are designed for space-limited, modern electronics such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, as well as wearable technology and IoT devices such as WiFi-enabled thermostats. The SMT-0952-T-5V-R features a directional resonant frequency of 5200Hz, making it ideal for location-based tracker alarms to help users find the device based on sound. The SMT-0940-T-3V-R is designed with a lower resonant frequency for multi-tone output while remaining thin. Both parts are piezo-based audio solutions that offer low current consumption, battery friendly 3mA or 1mA max and allow for wide operating voltage range from 1-25Vp-p with easy output scalability.
